Fantastic Beasts 2: New image REVEALS Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone LINK

Filming on the Harry Potter spin-off’s sequel is currently underway as more familiar characters from Rowling’s books are set to pop up.

While Jude Law has been cast as young Albus Dumbledore in the 1920s set movie, another important character from the first book is set for an appearance.

The Fantastic Beasts 2 official Facebook page has shared a new picture of a leather-bound book or chest, which is sealed by a padlock inscribed “NF.”

The image’s description reads: “The only known maker of the Philosopher’s Stone. What other mysteries may be locked away?”

Harry Potter fans will know NF are the initials of one Nicolas Flamer, the creator of the Philosopher’s Stone, referenced in the first of Rowling’s books.

In Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, Flamel and Dumbledore are good friends and it’s revealed the previous lived until 666-years-old due to the immorality provided by the stone.

While it was sought by Lord Voldemort in Harry Potter, presumably Johnny Depp’s Gellert Grindelwald be looking for it in Fantastic Beasts 2? Perhaps it’s even in within this chest?

Earlier this year it was revealed that Mexican actor Brontis Jodorowsky will play Flamel.

Meanwhile a few weeks ago the first image for Fantastic Beasts 2 arrived featuring a Ministry of Magic document.

Harry Potter stopped Lord Voldemort from obtaining the Philosopher’s Stone.

The image showed a denial travel permit for Eddie Redmayne’s Newt Scamander, suggesting he’s grounded in England following the events in New York during Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
